Family, local, and country food. Our family has been eating here for years and it is our go to place when all else fails. It is reliable and they always cook the food the way you want them. Great family that owns it as well.
Unfortunately there was an employee that was quite rude and passive aggressive when asked if we could move two tables together near the front of the restaurant when we first got there. We were leaving our vacation rental and had our dog with us and had to leave him in our running, air conditioned car and we wanted to keep an eye on him. She made us move our tables together and walked away from us like we were annoying her that we just wouldn't sit at another table. It was not a good impression at all, but the other employees redeemed the over all first impression. Would have given a 5, had we not had the initial rudeness.
Need to clean up the place. Put in a better parking area. Put a price on chalkboard along with the the daily special.
Went in for first time today and we were surprised to find out their special for the day was turkey n dressing w all the fixings. It was delicious. They like to serve it 4 times a year. Will definitely return to try their other meals
